Unveiling the Power of the Office of Singers

Last Sunday, the Mega Church, Gospel Pillars Church also known as Ark of light for all Nations, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, was filled to capacity with thousands of worshippers, both physically and virtually, across its branches within and outside Nigeria. The congregation was electrified with excitement, basking in the overflow of recent testimonies that have been pouring in, proving that the God of Gospel Pillars Church specializes in doing the impossible.

Prophet Isaiah Macwealth, a renowned teaching priest, Prophet and revivalist, delivered a powerful message centered around the often-misunderstood Office of Singers. He addressed the misconceptions and biases that are beginning to circulate in churches towards providing material benefits for singers.

The Prophet of God emphasized that the Office of Singers was instituted by King David himself, as seen in 1 Chronicles 6:31-32, which says, “These are the men David put in charge of the music in the house of the LORD after the ark came to rest there.” He highlighted that David, a man after God’s own heart, recognized the importance of singers in the house of the Lord.

Prophet Isaiah Macwealth stressed that singers are not just mere individuals, but ministers who play a vital role in ushering in the presence of God. He cited 1 Chronicles 25:3-5, which describes how Jeduthun prophesied with a harp, giving thanks and praise to the Lord.

Prophet Isaiah Macwealth further explained that it is biblical to provide for those who minister in songs. He encouraged the church to recognize the value of their singers and support them, just as David did in the scriptures.

As the service came to a close, Prophet Isaiah Macwealth left the congregation with a powerful reminder: “When we honour the Office of Singers, we are honouring an order set by God.”
